Sleepaway Girls seems like a very interesting book. It's about a girl named Sam Montgomery and how she goes to a camp called Whispering Pines to apply as one of the counselors. When she arrives, Ashley the queen of Whispering Pines tries to ruin her summer. Sam also has a crush on the surfer- blond and flirtatious Hunter. There's the playful Cole that loves teasing Sam but is comfortable while hanging around him. Sam becomes friends with a gang of girl that calls themselves the Sleepaway Girls.

Rainbow high By Alex Sanchez(Takeisha Garner) #4
The book Rainbow High really interests me and I actually like it but their was one problem going on with each of the three main characters that I disliked. One of the main characters, Nelson, is set on a strained relationship with a guy Jeremy who is tested positive for HIV and his mother agrees with Jeremy about braking up with Nelson so he can't get HIV himself. I disliked this because I didn't want Jeremy and Nelson to brake up even though Jeremy was positive, they made a perfect couple and nelson finally found someone he really loved and cared about besides his best friend and the other guys hes dated. Another thing i disliked had to do with my favorite character, Kyle, he was being forced to go to Princeton, a collage kyle wanted to go to but now he doesn't want to because he afraid of leaving Jason. I actually agree with Kyles parents and that he should go to Princeton. he shouldn't have to worry about leaving him but at the same time he should because what if Jason cheats because he also likes girls. The last thing I disliked had to do with my second fave character,Jason. Jason had finally came out to his team and then had came out on television during a game, he also kissed kyle while be interviewed when they asked did he have a boyfriend.Now his Athletic scholarship is taken away. I disliked this because so what if he's gay, he can still keep his scholarship to play basketball. does it really matter about what gender you like? the good thing that made it better was people thought he was an inspiration to gays, lesbians, and bi's and helped him try to get it back.

New Moon By: Stephenie Meyer Dana Chen 7E

I think New Moon is an okay book.In my opinion, Twilight was better. New Moon has more action and is funnier but it is still an okay book. In New Moon, it starts out on Bella's birthday. Bella tells everyone not to get her birthday presents but they won't listen, especially Edward Cullen her vampire boyfriend. After the school, the Cullen family takes Bella to their huge mansion to celebrate Bella's birthday. At the party something terrible happens and Bella ends up getting stitches. Edward is afraid of hurting Bella again so he leaves her and go somewhere else to live with his family. Bella becomes lonely and starting having terrible nightmares. Months pass and so she goes to her friend, Jacob Black that is a werewolf but Bella doesn't know yet. Jacob comforts Bella until Bella sees Jacob transforming into a werewolf along with his friends. After that moment in her life Bella starts having nightmares again and decides to jump off a cliff. At the end Bella does get back together with Edward but even after that something more happens.

I was the one that wrote your moms name in stone, I was the one that made you belive there is a spirit. I will take your life and make it twice as worse. I will keep writing words that shouldn't be written oon a hill and make you think that there are more than humans on this planet. I will make you think that they are still alive. Sunday 29 Dear Dumb Diary, THIS ISN'T FAIR!!!!!! Isabella gets her contacts(but now notice she wants her glasses back), Angeline gets me on the newspaper with me picking up underwear and steals my crush once again and what do I get? Nothing. Then again i found my inner beauty, but was replaced with weirdness, and yeah I repeated myself and I'll say it again like the other day, '' MY INNER BEAUTY WAS BEING REPLACED WITH WEIRDNESS'',because Hudson read the paper and gave me a dirty look like I was eating underwear.Guess what? Meg also said that she had a strange visitor in the night saying that thing this called an eachthros is out to kill Charles Wallace. Now he is deathly ill.the doctor says he won't make it...

Fever 1793 by Lauren Halse Anderson is about a deadly fever that is killing the old town. Mattie Cook lived in a coffee shop and lived a pretty normal life until the fever broke out. People have heard rumor that the fever had come from the river. One day her mom caught the fever and they made the doctor come over. The doctor asked Mattie to leave because they were going to draw a large amount of blood from her mom.
Mattie was not the type that listened all the time and she peeked in and saw the huge amount of blood coming out of her arm and she gasped and fainted. A couple of months later Mattie found a family that was not sick and stayed with them. Mattie stayed with them for a while until she had to go to find her mother. She looked everywhere but she just could not find her. Soon she found her mom and they were very happy once again.

Matilda by Roald Dahl is a book about a very smart little girl that was ignored by her parents and she played tricks on them because she does not like when they call her names. Matilda’s mom thinks that reading is not important and being beautiful is more important so you could have a husband in the future. One amazing thing Matilda can do is move things with her mind. Matilda makes the mean princable leave and all of the teachers and students cheer for her. Ms.Honey was the only one who knew about Matilda’s powers.
At the end of the book Matilda came to live with Ms.Honey because the dad had a lot to pay up because he sold horrible cars and lied to costumers. As they were leaving at the last second Matilda ran to Ms.Honey to tell her that she was leaving and Ms.Honey was not surprised because she knew what Matilda’s dad does. Matilda ran with Ms.Honey all the way to her house and asked her mom and dad if she can stay. Matilda’s mom and dad said yes and Matilda jumped into her teachers arms. Matilda was now happy with someone she wanted to be with.

The absolutely true diary of a part time Indian by Sherman Alexie is about a boy that feels like he is living two lives. He quit his old school to go to a better one filled with white people. His friend Rowdey hated him know because junior was from the reservation and nobody leaves the reservation. Even before people picked on junior and since he started the new school people have been picking on him even more. Junior loves to draw and that is one of the way he expresses his feelings.
BLOG 4Rani in the Mermaid Lagoon by Lisa Papademetriou is aabout a fairy that lost her wings but for a good cause. Rani still felt sad because she couldn't dance at the fairy ball. Rani got around because she rhode on the back of a dove. At the ball she couldn't do the dances because the doves wings would blow the dancing people. Rani did not feel like she belonged because Vidia told her that she only got in the way.
Rani ran away and had to defend herself from a snake in the water. Finally she got to a lagoon and these mermaids found her. The mermaids were deciding which one should keep her. A couple of minutes later Rani and the mermaids were under water. The only way Rani could breath was with a neclace made out of bubbles because she was a water talent fairy. The mermaids showed her where they lived. Rani finally noticed that she missed pixie hollow and returned. Everybody was happy eccept Vidia.

They like Bo, they want to adopt him, but give me away. But Bo needs to stay with me. I know what is best for him. I think that me and Bo are gonna run away from them tonight, and never return. I don't know where we are going to go, but I know we have to get away from here. We might have to live on the streets for a couple of nights, and I have no idea where we are going to find food. But I am Bo's older brother, and I need to take care of him, even if it does mean living on the streets.

Me and Bo are learning how to steal. The group is run by the head thief, who is called The Thief Lord. He is a master thief, and can steel almost anything. And he has been living on the streets forever. I love living here, even though we sometimes almost get caught by the cops.

Believe in yourself and and say "I don't have to do this! I can do whatever I want!" I also see that there is this pigeon that came to your window one day and if anyone sees it they would be mad at you and would kill the bird. But now, you have made friends with this bird. Pretend as if it is part of your family and feed it and play with it and don't care what anybody thinks or says. I know its hard taking that type of advice to someone but sometimes you have to stand up for yourself. You don't want to be peer pressured or anything. Live your life how you want it to be lived and do not let anyone boss you around. And I know where you are coming from... who wants to wring a pigeon? Who wants to kill a pure animal that has never caused any harm? Anyways, I hope you take this advice and good luck!

This following book is also a book that I have read before and it is number three from the book report ideas.
There’s going to be those books where you hate a part of it so my part that I didn’t like about this book was when Junior (main character) told his best friend Rowdy that he would be going to an all white school away from the reservation. So Rowdy got really mad and punched Junior in the face. It is sad to have your own best friend punch you in the face. That was no way to solve a problem and Junior is scrawny so it is not like he would get back up and fight back.
Another part I didn’t like about this book was when Junior’s sister, Mary, ran away. Junior thinks she ran away because he went to the white school and that got her jealous because he went somewhere he actually wanted to go in life. She just stayed in a basement even though she knew that wasn’t what she wanted to do. So, when Mary runs away, she gets married and doesn’t have any money and then she dies. She died because her and her husband had a party and got drunk. So then they went to sleep and someone was trying to cook soup on a hot plate and forgot about it and left so the fire was left on and Mary and her husband burned to death. Those were the only two situations I didn’t really like about the book or that were sad. Everything else was great!

Dear Diary,
This morning was so crazy! Rodrick got me soo mad! So heres the story… Rodrick, my brother, woke me up - during the summer – and said that I slept through the whole summer and that today was the first day of school. This was all a joke but he had on his school clothes and book bag and he set my alarm clock ahead to make it seem like it was morning. He also closed my curtains so I wouldn’t see that it was dark outside. So, I got up, got dressed, and went downstairs to make breakfast. But I must have been making a lot of noise because dad came downstairs yelling at me for eating Cheerios at 3 o’clock in the morning. So I told dad sorry and that Rodrick was the one that tricked me. So we went upstairs to look at Rodrick and he was sound asleep in his bed. I was so mad and I was being yelled at for something he tricked me in. But one day I plan to get back at him. But even worse. I was still kind of dumb falling for that.

Finally! The first week of school is over! Today’s the weekend so I decided to sleep. Most kids wake up early on Saturday to watch television but NOT ME! The only reason I get up is because I just can’t stand the taste of my “morning” breath anymoreJ. Sadly, dad gets up at 6 o’clock every single morning, not considerate of anyone and does whatever he wants. So today he decided to vacuum my room. Since, I couldn’t go back to sleep, I just decided to go to Rowley’s house (bestfriend). I haven’t talked to Rowley since the first day of school because he did something that annoyed me sooo much! He asked me if I wanted to go over to his house and PLAY. I have told Rowley a million times to not say play! To say chill or hang out. And adding to that, he asked around other boys so they heard too. But anyways, I didn’t have anything to do that morning so I just went to his house.

Ok, so Rodrick has a band and it is awful! I hate it when they have rehearsals at the house and then I can hear them. The band is called “Loaded Diaper” but on the bands van it says “Loded Diaper”. Either way it’s spelled, what kind of name is that?! Then mom thinks WE will all learn to play instruments one day and become a famous family band like the ones you see on television. Never in the world will I want to do that. But this was a short “diary” entry so yeah.

The Midnight Twins by Jacquelyn Mitchard is about two identical twins named Meredith and Mallory Brynn who have powers. They can read minds and share thoughts. One of them can see the future and the other can see the past. Their powers lead them to a high school student that does horrible things.
I recommend this book to people who like magical things and mysteries. This book has all of that. I don't recommend this book to the people who don't have these interests.

We went rushing into the cave, all the best with us. This was a full on attack. Demetri and I were tragically separated. He went in with the first wave. I went in with the second, the moment I got in there I saw bodies flying, strigoi and Dharnphirs battling and poor helpless Moroi stuck in the cave right behind. The moroi are prisoners. Uhhghh I have to go to class.

A Long Way Gone memoirs of a boy soldiers by- Ishmael Beah
A Long Way Gone is a very emotinal book. Its about a boy soldier who has to go throuh trainin kill people and other stuff. He hates it and doesnt want t do it. It is very hard Some of the boys get killed in battle or killed and have their hands cut off by the leader. It was a tough rode for him. This book was really good though. It was very diverse and stood out mre than any other book. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give this a 9. This book did not digress on topic at all. This book stayed on point and explained everything that needed to be explained. this i not a rudiment book this is more of a complex book. This goes more in depth to children in Africa who become soldiers in their countries armys. This is a really great book. I reccmend everyone to get it and read it.

If you try to go over his habits with a lawyer of some kind you may find a way he couldve stuck the branch in there. I don't think that the author should have put the whole part about Amy's mom changing her style and looks. It took away form the main problems of the book. I really disliked the part about Amy's mom getting her hair messed up. That part made it seem like Amy's mom still loved her dad even though she has moved in with Dave and had two kids with him. It made Amy's mom seem like she was jealous of Amy's dads girlfriend Shelly. But then the author never made any of that clear.
I also didn't like the part about Sophie (Amy's Kind of Friend) and her mom's pearls. I thought that part was rushed and just added to make the book longer. I thought the main problem should have been Amy and the advice column, and Amy and Seth (Amy's boyfriend). The whole thing about Sophie's mom blaming her stolen pearls on Amy was in my opinion pointless. It was solved to quickly and wasn't explained very well. It was kind of obvious that Sophie took them and framed Amy. Sophie had it out for Amy during the entire book. Other than those two parts I thought the book was very good.

This series was about a set of triplets named Violet, Klaus, and Sunny. Their parents died in a fire while they were at the beach. They were rich, so they're fortune was kept away until they turned 18. Their so called "relative" named Count Olaf is trying to steal their fortune. He has a unibrow and a tattoo of an eye on his ankle. Where ever they go, he always finds a way to get to them. They met some friends named the Quagmires. Count Olaf took them away and they were never found.
I would recommend this series because it has a lot of suspense and teaches you what to do in situations like that. It's a very intense series and I would recommend it to anyone.

Today one of the most peculiar things happend to me today! I just so happened to see this white rabbit so I decided to follow it! He went inside a rabbit hole, so I crawled under it until I fell down this long thing that seemed to be a passageway type of thing! I just landed so bye for now!

I found a small little door, but I coulld not find the key. Then there was a key on the table with a little bottle that had the words "Drink Me". So I did what made the most sense and I took a bite. Then, I started to grow smaller and smaller until I was able to fit through that door. Then, I realized that I have forgotten the key so I tried to climb up the table myself but I just couldn't. So I started to cry. But then I saw this little box that had this tart that said "Eat Me". So I did just that and I started to grow and grow and grow until my head reached the ceiling! I must have been 9ft tall! Well now I was at least able to reach the key. I tried to make my way down to the door, but it was hopless. I started crying again and then this pool of tears surrounded me. Later, I spotted the white rabbit again. Then I started to shrink and I realized there was a way to escape! This was just the start to a new adventure!

I also did not like this book because I thought the events were not solved well. One event that was not solved well was when she came into wonderland no one was nice to her and they were beig rude. In the stoty they did not have to be mean to alice they could have been nice to her and the story would still go smoothly. So overall I dont think this book deserves to be on any reading list.

The doctor asked Mattie to leave because they were going to draw a large amount of blood from her mom.
Mattie was not the type that listened all the time and she peeked in and saw the huge amount of blood coming out of her arm and she gasped and fainted. A couple of months later Mattie found a family that was not sick and stayed with them. Mattie stayed with them for a while until she had to go to find her mother. She looked everywhere but she just could not find her. Soon she found her mom and they were very happy once again.

Matilda makes the mean princable leave and all of the teachers and students cheer for her. Ms.Honey was the only one who knew about Matilda’s powers.
At the end of the book Matilda came to live with Ms.Honey because the dad had a lot to pay up because he sold horrible cars and lied to costumers. As they were leaving at the last second Matilda ran to Ms.Honey to tell her that she was leaving and Ms.Honey was not surprised because she knew what Matilda’s dad does. Matilda ran with Ms.Honey all the way to her house and asked her mom and dad if she can stay. Matilda’s mom and dad said yes and Matilda jumped into her teachers arms. Matilda was now happy with someone she wanted to be with.

His friend Rowdey hated him know because junior was from the reservation and nobody leaves the reservation. Even before people picked on junior and since he started the new school people have been picking on him even more. Junior loves to draw and that is one of the way he expresses his feelings.

It seems as if Peg knew she was dying so wrote up these letter for Ginny. She most likely knew that it is hard for Ginny to let lose. I think she just wanted to get Ginny to have some fun. If you really want to help you could get Ginny excited for her trip.

These four girls have been friends since they were born, and although they go to different schools, have never spent a summer apart. Their main conflict in this book is that, at the age of sixteen, they are spending their first summer apart from one another. Lena is going to Greece, Carmen is visiting her stepfather in South Carolina, Bridget is going to soccer camp in California, and Tibby is working at a local drug store. The day before they were going to depart from one another, they discovered a pair of magical pants. Well, your probably thinking to yourself "what are magical pants?"Well, these pair of ordinary blue jeans fit each of these girls' totally different bodys, beautifully. Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac is a wonderful book. Its not one of my favorite books but this book is pretty good. I would suggest buying this book to people but only the majority. Dead Is The New Black by Marlene Perez is about a 16 year-old girl named Daisy Giordano who is dealing with her first boyfriend and tries to fit in with the cheerleaders. Her family are "psychic" and then finds out she is one too. Suddenly, the students in her school start turning into vampires and "looking dead". She notices it is happening to lots of the teenage girls in her school. Daisy is curious why that is happening and wants a stop to it.
I recommend this book to a kid who likes teen drama and vampires. This book has all of the high school drama with boys and teen girl rivalries. In addition, this book includes lots of vampires and other creatures. I don't recommend this book to anybody if they don't have these interests.

I see that you fell in a hole into a new "wonderland". This wonderland is like your real life and with better people. It can also be you real life with different looking people but the personality is what you wish it was like. And then you saw a piece of cake that said "Eat me" and juice that said "Drink me". But, be smart and pause and think which should I take and what should I do. Just take a moment to think and you would be out of there in no time!

"Julie's Wolf Pack" by Jean Craighead George is about a wolf pack that go through problems year after year. They save a girl named Julie in a tundra. In this story; the wolves suffer of a famine. They have to travel their territory to find their food. On their journey, they gain a wolf, but that wolf has rabies. Julie tries to give the wolves shots so they wont get rabies. In this story you learn a lot about wolves, like what they eat and how they mark their territories.
I wouldn't really recommend this book for other people if they're not interested in wolves. The story is basically in a wolf's point of view. From the running, to the hunting, to the fighting. If someone wanted to do a report on wolves they could use this book since it gives out a lot of information.

I have had the worst day of my life! My mother was kidnapped by a Minotaur, and disappeared into thin air. I'm a hero now, though. After my mother disappeared, I fought the Minotaur and got his horn as a trophy! Oh yeah, I almost forgot. My father is Poseidon. There's nothing much to say next, so until next time.

The Absolutely True Diary Of A Part-Time Indian by Alexie Sherman
This story is about an Indian - American boy named Arnold Spirit Junior. He lives on an Indian reservation. He starts high school and gets a textbook that his mother used. He got so angry because he felt that was happening to him because he's Indian. So he threw the book and it hit his teacher. The teacher came to speak to him and told him he had to leav the reservation. So he switched to Reardan, which no one on the reservation found acceptable. He met a girl named Penelope and started to change himself. Since he left the reservation his sister decided to do the same and moved to Montana. She ended up dying in a fire in her trailer.
I would recommend this book because it teaches you that you can be anything you want to be. As long as you set your mind on it. If you set your mind on it, you'll achieve everything you believe. Arnold learned that and so did his sister. He also learned that everything isn't going wrong with him because he's an Indian, it's just how his life was planned out from the start. Arnold's future is very bright since he left the reservation.

"The Outsiders" is a good book because it's a realistic fiction. It's about a boy in a gang, named Ponyboy, and he has a rival gang called "The Socs". His life is a living drama. He ran away from home, then came back and had to fight in a brawl against the other gang. His two best friends Dally and Johnny died. Dally was shot by the police and Johnny died because he cracked his spine. After they died, Ponyboy became a totally different person. He learned a lesson and then decided to put school first.
I would recommend this book to someone becaus eit teaches a valuable lesson. It teaches you to put family and education before yourself. So You Want To Be A Wizard (Emmett Foxe)
In this novel I disagreed with some things the author wrote. I loved the book, but there were still some things that I thought could have been better. One example would be Nita and Joanne's relationship. When Nita becomes a wizard and Joanne tries to beat her up, I think Nita is to passive. Any real wizard probably have used their powers to hurt their opposition. I think that it was not enough that she just let Joanne beat her up and then show Joanne that she got no injuries from it because of her protecting spell.
Another example would be when Kit and Nita met the fireworm. I think that the fact that the fireworm forgot about Kit and Nita so quickly makes no sense. I do understand that he was starting to lose his memory but they came in the room 5 minutes before he forgot about them. That is overdoing the memory loss in my opinion. Also, Kit and Nita should have killed the fireworm to put it out of its misery. This would have been the smartest thing to do. (It was forgetting what it had in its hoard which is a horrible thing to happen to a hoarder.)

These monsters never truly die. If they are killed they just come back years later. They are chasing him because he is a demigod. He is actually a son of Poseidon. Demigods attract monsters.

I think that with this problem matters are a little out of my hands. Yet seeing as I had a former demigod friend, I am a little more understanding than some regular mortals are. Tell him that the first thing to do is never use a cell-phone. It is pretty much a beacon for monsters. Second, he should definitely get to Camp Half-Blood. This is a place where he can be trained to handle his demigod skills and powers. Also, there is a giant collection of demigods housed there, and force can come in numbers. At Camp Half-Blood monsters can't even cross the camp boundaries. Tell your friend good luck with his problem!

I read this book during the summer and I am going to use it for the blog.
This book is mainly about a conflic between two gangs in a town. The main characters of the story are Ponyboy, Johny, Soda, Darry, Two Bits, Dally and Paul. My favorite part of the story was when Johny and Ponyboy came back from running away because they were both happy and with their family. The bad part was that Johny was in the hospital after almost getting stuck in a fire. The worst part was when Johny didnt make it through the hospital and past away. After Johny died Dally got really mad, punched the wall and ran out the hospital. Later found getting chased by the police after stealing from a store. It seems like he want to die because he then pointed a gun at the officer and got shot. So that was two people that died in the same day.

So he decided to leave the reservation and go to an all white school called Reardon. People started calling him a traitor and an apple because they said he is red on the outside and white on the inside. The worst part of the book was when Arnolds grand mother dies because she was very known and respected. Another heart-breaking part of the story is when Arnolds sister runs away and dies from a fire.
