Wringer
Dear Palmer,
I know that you are having difficulties because once you turn ten you have to wring a pigeon as a part of your community and family's tradition, but you do not have to do this! Believe in yourself and and say "I don't have to do this! I can do whatever I want!" I also see that there is this pigeon that came to your window one day and if anyone sees it they would be mad at you and would kill the bird. But now, you have made friends with this bird. Pretend as if it is part of your family and feed it and play with it and don't care what anybody thinks or says. I know its hard taking that type of advice to someone but sometimes you have to stand up for yourself. You don't want to be peer pressured or anything. Live your life how you want it to be lived and do not let anyone boss you around. And I know where you are coming from... who wants to wring a pigeon? Who wants to kill a pure animal that has never caused any harm? Anyways, I hope you take this advice and good luck!
Sincerely Abby
