1st blog-

                                                               The Outsiders
       
         I read this book during the summer and I am going to use it for the blog.

This book is mainly about a conflic between two gangs in a town. The main characters of the story are Ponyboy, Johny, Soda, Darry, Two Bits, Dally and Paul. My favorite part of the story was when Johny and Ponyboy came back from running away because they were both happy and with their family. The bad part was that Johny was in the hospital after almost getting stuck in a fire. The worst part was when Johny didnt make it through the hospital and past away. After Johny died Dally got really mad, punched the wall and ran out the hospital. Later found getting chased by the police after stealing from a store. It seems like he want to die because he then pointed a gun at the officer and got shot. So that was two people that died in the same day.

2nd Blog-

                                       The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian

  I read this book during the summer and I am going to use it for the 2nd blog.
            
               This book is mainly about making the right decisions and thinking before you do or say something. The main characters of the book are Arnold (Junior) and Rowdy. My favorite part of the book is when arnold throws the textbook at Mr. P. First of all because it's funny. Second of all, like it says inside of the book, because he threw that textbook at Mr. P because he wanted to have a better education and learn more. So he decided to leave the reservation and go to an all white school called Reardon. People started calling him a traitor and an apple because they said he is red on the outside and white on the inside. The worst part of the book was when Arnolds grand mother dies because she was very known and respected. Another heart-breaking part of the story is when Arnolds sister runs away and dies from a fire.
