So You Want To Be A Wizard (Emmett Foxe)

In this novel I disagreed with some things the author wrote. I loved the book, but there were still some things that I thought could have been better. One example would be Nita and Joanne's relationship. When Nita becomes a wizard and Joanne tries to beat her up, I think Nita is to passive. Any real wizard probably have used their powers to hurt their opposition. I think that it was not enough that she just let Joanne beat her up and then show Joanne that she got no injuries from it because of her protecting spell.

Another example would be when Kit and Nita met the fireworm. I think that the fact that the fireworm forgot about Kit and Nita so quickly makes no sense. I do understand that he was starting to lose his memory but they came in the room 5 minutes before he forgot about them. That is overdoing the memory loss in my opinion. Also, Kit and Nita should have killed the fireworm to put it out of its misery. This would have been the smartest thing to do. (It was forgetting what it had in its hoard which is a horrible thing to happen to a hoarder.)
