Spooky Little Girl By: Laurie Notaro Eva Wertimer 7E
Dear Abby,
One of my really good friends Lucy has a few huge problem. First when she came back from her trip to Hawaii her fiance to be has put all her belongings out on the street. He changed his locks and his phone number. Then after Lucy goes to stay with her best friend Jilly, she gets a call from work. They say they are missing a huge check and Lucy was the last one to have it! Luckily she found the check and goes into work. When she gets there her boss is supicious and makes Lucy take a drug test. The test comes out positive, but Lucy doesn't do drugs! Lucy gets fired and then has to move in with her sister. When Lucy is going to look for a new job she gets hit by a bus! Now she is dead! Lucy now has to go through "ghost school" to figure out some assignment she has to do. When Lucy finished ghost school she finds out she has an assignment at her ex fiance's house. Lucy has no idea what the assignment it though. She does find out that her worst enemy has moved in with her fiance though. Lucy is so great. She doesn't deserve any of this. She is so nice, caring, and always thinking of others. I just want to help.

Dear Trying to be a good friend,
Well this is quite a problem you got here! First I would try to help Lucy figure out what went wrong with her fiance and job. Find clues, or even just think back. After you have that all sorted out you might want to help Lucy figure out what her assignment is. That seems like the biggest problem here. The assignment probably can't be that hard to figure out. If you do all this to help Lucy it will make her feel much better. Hope this helped!

ReplyDeleteThe book seems like a dramatic story. I like how Abby gave her more than one advice. That way the friend has choices on how to help Lucy. Does Lucy ever find out what went wrong with the drug test and fiance?
