This book is about a girl named Heidi who lives with her mentally challenged mother in Reno, Nevada. Heidi struggles with not knowing anything about her family, her father and not even having a last name. Then she finds an old camera, which prompts her quest to learn the identity of the people in the photographs it holds and to discover her past. While traveling by bus from Nevada to Liberty, NY, the girl relies on her luck, instinct, and the people she meets on the way to learn the truth about her mother and her own background.
I reccomend this book to EVERYONE! Whether you like reading or not! It is one of my favorite books of all time. It has a nice mix of sadness and also happiness. It teaches you life long lessons. This book is a must! This book can show how nieve someone can be but it can lead to many things!
