13 Little Blue Envelopes By: Maureen Johnson Eva Wertimer 7E Blog # 3
Dear Abby,
I know this really great girl. Her name is Ginny Blackstone. She is so awesome, nice, follows rules really well. Ginny is seventeen, and she recently got a pretty big surprise. Her aunt sent her an envelope. The first one had some in it telling her instructed her to to buy a plane ticket to London with the $1000 dollars enclosed. It also told her to go to go to one of there favorite Chinese food places and pick up a package. This wouldn't be so strange if Ginny's aunt Peg hadn't died a few months ago. Well Ginny went to the Chinese food place and picked up the package. Inside where 13 other envelopes. Ginny can't open another envelope until she completes the task in the one she opened. So now Ginny is very confused. What should I do?!
GFRIEND
Dear GFRIEND,
Well I understand your dilemma. This is an odd problem and it seems hard to figure out the problem. I think that there is really nothing to worry about. It seems as if Peg knew she was dying so wrote up these letter for Ginny. She most likely knew that it is hard for Ginny to let lose. I think she just wanted to get Ginny to have some fun. If you really want to help you could get Ginny excited for her trip.
Best of wishes
Abby
