       Forged by fire is about a young boy, when he was 3 years old, was left by is drug attic mother. He stays with his Aunt Queen until he was 9 years old which is when his mother returns with another man that claims to be his new sisters father. Gerald refuses to go back with his mom and his new stepfather. Soon Gerald's life gets turned around when his Aunt Queen dies of a heart attack. He finds comfort in his younger sister Angel. But, he knew something was wrong when Angel shows fear around Jordan, the stepfather. Jordan has been sexually abusing Angel. He despised Jordan and will do anything to protect his little sister. Each day of  abuse and violence, the only thing that keeps love in Gerald's life is Angel. One the violence will all end. Defending Angel one last time from Jordan, the house catches on fire and Jordan dies. With his mother, who wasn't able or even tried to stop the abuse took her two kids drove away in the ambulance. A flicker of hope survives in the darkness for another new chapter in family life, this time without violence.
